The Wall is a double album released by Pink Floyd in 1979, on the basis of which the film has also been made. The album was written and composed by the band's bassist Roger Waters. The album is a concept album, and its songs tell the story of a man named Pink who has been tormented by society, his mother and school since he was a child. Pink's father died during World War II. These experiences get Pink to start building an imaginary wall, in which case all counterattacks are just “Another brick in The Wall,” that is, a new brick to that wall. Eventually, Pink finally escapes behind the wall into his own world, where, among other things, he imagines himself to be a fascist dictator.
