 Pink Floyd was an English rock band and one of the most popular and musically influential bands of all time. Pink Floyd was formed in London in 1965. The original line-up included singer-guitarist Syd Barrett, bassist Roger Waters, keyboardist Richard Wright and drummer Nick Mason. Behind the band’s name were American blues musicians Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. In the early years, the band was led by Barrett. In 1967, Floyd released his debut album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn. That same year, guitarist David Gilmour joined the band. The biggest breakthroughs came in 1973 when the band released the album Dark Side Of The Moon. There are many classics from Pink Floyd such as The Wall, Animals, Division Bell, Wish You Were Here, Atom Heart Mother, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason and Many others.
